Do you know what is a Trademark and why Trademark is important to your business.

So firstly what is a Trademark.
Trademark means it is an identity of whom the business. So there can be only one identity for one business so that the Goodwill and Reputation that is earned by the Company can be provided only by that company.
In case there is any person who is copying that particular Brand then the reputation will be passed on.
If for example if you see anywhere if you go and purchase any kind of detergent you will see Ariel,RIN and different brands.
For example if you go to any remote village and see similar brand name which is there, So people think that it is coming from a reputed brand and they will start purchasing it. So in order to avoid such kind of conflicting marks comes into picture duplication. So a person should have theeir own brand name and brand identity where we can stop someone from copying that brand name once the reputation is owned.
It is actuallly a myth, People think that I will do the Trademark registration and I take care of my Asset if at all it grows big.
Who starts a business saying that I will collapse in between. Everyone's intention is that business wants to grow to an extent where that becomes a brand by itself. So the basic steps that has to be taken care is at the beginning itself.
Many of them do this mistake:
They keep branding which is identical to some other brand name or it is conflicting with some other brand name which they do it ignorantly. What happens is that when the business starts kicking off and it takes off to another level and the business owners get legal notices stating that you are copying our brand name. So your years of efforts of building your brand is going to the waste.
Now you comeback to zeroe level where again you have to start building up. So in every business there will be a situation where the Trademark, your brand name and reuptation goes upto some level and that brand itself will take the business to another level. So it is important that the brand is very crucial in every business. So the steps what I have mentioned I would request you all to think about it.
If you have not done your registration then go for registration and if have not started up you need to have a proper consultation to start on which Brand name I have to chose for. and nowadays minstry of corporate affairs is not registering even a single company if conflict of Trademarks existing. I hope again this comes first registration of partnership and even the Proprietorship names as well,so that people will get more awareness and then they will have very good legal strategy in place before they start the business.
